ReDevelop pursues a countercyclical value-add approach to inner-city building stock: former department stores and office buildings with sound structure and established locations whose use concept has run its economic course. We buy in market phases with low competitive pressure and reposition into uses with strong demand: residential including subsidised housing, healthcare, hotel and education. Value comes from the entry point, the retention of structure and embodied energy, a subsidy structure from federal and state programmes integrated from the acquisition review onwards, and serial, modular delivery with reliable cost and schedule certainty.
